Haven’t had a lot of time to draw, school work has been taking up most of my time. I think I will try watercolour pencils next :D
Drawing of a human heart, though I think it might be anatomically incorrect.
Pardon the hole on the right side of the drawing, a water droplet fell onto the paper and I accidentally rubbed my eraser onto the spot. Gah.
Thought it would be a good idea to start keeping track of the progress of my drawings, so I can see what’s lacking/what needs to be improved on..
Lacks texture, doesn’t have the grotesque raw meat feel I was going for, think it needs more depth as well. Didn’t quite know how to position the veins in order to create the depth and shape.
I was looking at Da Vinci’s anatomical drawings and I realized how little I knew of myself (literally)! I will never be able to truly see my own organs and skeleton, I can only see what they look like through photos etc. All of it is in my body yet it seems so foreign. I think I’ll try different body parts next.
